Real Name: Fledermaus Breed: Hanoverian Date of Birth: 5/21/98 Although he is meant to be a dressage horse who also does a little jumping on the side, he mostly likes being a trail horse. He sometimes likes jumping over stone walls to get out of his paddock but really has no interest in jumping over fences in an arena with a human on his back. He LOVES humans but mostly when they are on the ground and can be licked and nibbled and pushed around and forced into scratching all of his itchy spots. When they are on his back, he sometimes does everything in his power to get them back on the ground again.

Real Name: Favorite Class Breed: American Paint Horse Date of Birth: 3/25/91 Austin is an extremely indulgent equine. He loves children and tolerates adults remarkably well. His nickname among neighborhood riders is ?Awesome?. He is nice and forward, never lazy, but always easy to rein in. We love to gallop him on the beach bareback with no hat on. It makes us feel like we are 12 years old again. His job is to be a reliable and fun trail horse and he succeeds at that 99% of the time - though we have to confess he is getting a little feistier in his old age.
